Falafel Balls !!!

Quick and easy... and reallyyyy yummy !!!

Ingredients

1 Onion (finely chopped)
1 clove Garlic (crushed)/ 1 1/2tsn garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
1 cup Chickpeas (soaked over night)
1 tsp Cumin Powder
2 tbspn corriander (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Bread crumbs

Method

1. First soak the chick peas overnight.
2. Then drain the water and cooker it for 5 min or so.
3. Blend the chick peas to a puree in a mixture. It will be slightly coarse.
4. In a separate blender, add the chopped onions, coriander and garlic. Blend it in a blender to form a smooth paste.
5. Add this onion mixture from above to the ground chick peas of step 3. Add salt as per taste. Mix well.
6. Roll between the palms into firm and a bit flat balls.
7. Coat the balls with bread crumbs. Heat oil in a deep bottomed vessel and fry the balls, a few at a time, until nicely brown all over.
8. Drain and serve hot with tomato ketchup, or classically its served with humus or tahini sauce.
